We had a great time at The Village Surry Hills. The location was perfect, close to the CBD and a beautiful park where we could play sports. The staff and cleaners were friendly and helpful. Despite some minor inconveniences, like a deactivated room key and early closing of common areas, we were able to meet some amazing people during our stay. I would recommend this hostel for its great location and friendly atmosphere.

I loved my recent stay at The Village Surry Hills. The location was perfect, just a short walk from Central Station. The room was huge, and despite some noise from the kitchen and laundry across the hall, I still managed to get a good night's sleep. The free breakfast was a nice touch, with a variety of cereals and toast options. The staff were helpful and allowed us to check in early. I had a great experience and would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great location, just minutes away from public transportation and key attractions. the room was decent with basic amenities. the price was reasonable considering the location and high prices in the city. Plus, they had laundry facilities which were a bonus.

The power socket near my bed was faulty and the USB plug didn't work properly. the bathroom was poorly designed, with a shower that leaked water everywhere and made the bedroom floor wet.
